Ali Abdelaziz confirms Henry Cejudo vs. Aljamain Sterling for 2023

During his interview with MMA Underground, Ali Abdelaziz spilled some beans on Henry Cejudo‘s next UFC appearance against Aljamain Sterling. And Abdelaziz seems absolutely pumped for the Cejudo fight. “I can’t wait for my boy, ‘Triple C’ to come back. Triple C. I like Aljo ( Aljamain Sterling),the MMA manager confirmed. “I consider Aljo as a friend. Aljo is fighting Henry Cejudo. It’s done. It’s done. The UFC said it’s done. He knows he’s done.”

Abdelaziz further went in-depth talking about Aljamain Sterling, a.k.a ‘Funk Master’. “I understand he wants different fight. The man never lost his belt. Defended both belts and he left on his own. He didn’t leave because he lost or injured. He just needed time off.”

“And I don’t think Aljamain shies from an opponent. He will try to make Henry sweat. But I already know what’s up. He’s fighting Henry.”

The manager says Islam Makhachev vs. Alexander Volkanovski is a mistake

Abdelaziz earlier expressed his concern over the UFC 284 main-card match, Islam Makhachev vs. Alexander Volkanovski, and stated, UFC made a mistake with this fight. Makhachev should be fighting against Beneil Dariush and not Volkanovski since he feels the former would be the right opponent for Makhachev at this moment.

Furthermore, in the same interview with MMA Underground, the manager went on to talk about his prediction on the Makhachev and Volkanovski fight. He said Makhachev wins under three rounds.
