When it comes to color commentary in the field of mixed martial arts, all voices seemingly unite to raise Joe Rogan. However, the UFC color commentator has also made his presence known as a podcaster and a comedian. Rogan’s passion for comedy is arguably strong. He has a Netflix special and features many comics on his podcast. However, the 55-year-old podcaster’s club, ‘Comedy Mothership’, has recently taken over the fans’ minds and left them in excitement.

Rogan recently took to social media and teased the fans with a video of ‘The Mothership’. Thereafter, the world has gone crazy with Rogan’s new comedic endeavor. Fans and professionals took to the comments section and kept on congratulating the 55-year-old for his successful ventures in the land of entertainment.

Recently, the beloved JRE host shared a video where he showed a glimpse of his comedy club in Austin, Texas. Rogan captioned, “@comedymothership WE COME IN PEACE.” Situated in the Ritz Theatre, the ‘Comedy Mothership’ attracted many followers to visit Austin.

Many prominent entities from the world of MMA, as well as comedy, reacted to the post. The UFC president, Dana White, responded with emojis, seemingly depicting a fist bump. The backcountry bowhunter, Cameron Hanes, wrote, “Amazing!!! Congrats brother.” Furthermore, fellow comedian, Tom Segura, responded with, “Congrats! This is gonna be fun.” The fans had a similar view, as well.

Joe Rogan’s insecurities during the early days of doing comedy

In episode #1929 of the JRE, the famed podcaster revealed he didn’t enjoy doing comedy during the early days. He disclosed he felt insecure and jealous of other comics. He said, “In the beginning, I didn’t (like doing comedy) because of jealousy and insecurity.” Furthermore, he added, “If someone else was killing it, then I was like ‘God! I wish I’d thought of that. God! I wish I was killing it.

However, soon Rogan realized that he indeed enjoyed watching comedy, and he was taking too much stress from performing. Without a doubt, the 55-year-old’s performance in comedy has seen some major turns, and he still continues to perform.
