UFC’s middleweight champion Israel Adesanya was one of the UFC fighters who was really excited about the first pay-per-view event of 2022. ‘The Last Stylebender’ hopped onto his couch and watched the PPV with his friends at his home.

The Nigerian-born Kiwi rooted for his fellow African champion, Francis Ngannou, to clinch victory in one of his toughest challenges. Although Adesanya was nervous during the first two rounds of the match, he took a breath of relief as ‘The Predator’ showcased his wrestling moves in the octagon and took home a decision victory over ‘Bon Gamin‘.

In a reaction video on his YouTube channel, Adesanya revealed how he felt about the PPV and particularly about his friend Francis Ngannou‘s victory.

‘The Last Stylebender’ said, “The main event? Wow! Amazing. Francis got it done. Was down two rounds, rallied up for the last three as a champion does. Now, the world is his oyster.”

The undisputed heavyweight champion of the world was under a lot of strain owing to the talks around his contract. To top it off, the Cameroonian was also in a test against his former sparring partner. However, he had his own help in the form of African champion Kamaru Usman at the octagon side.
