Joe Rogan reveals one good and one bad thing about the UFC

Rogan’s response echoed the complexities of the matter. First, he alluded to Crawford’s recent negotiations surrounding his fight with Errol Spence Jr. Moreover, Rogan recognized the challenges faced in securing equitable contracts. “There are a lot of vultures, there are a lot of weasels,” he said. Rogan’s words succinctly encapsulated the often cutthroat nature of the fight business.

Discussing the UFC, Rogan tackled the balance of a single organization’s control. He pointed out the pros of streamlined management and the cons of having one central authority. “One good thing about UFC is that there is one organisation that controls it. One bad thing about UFC is that there is one organisation that controls it. So you have good and bad,” the UFC commentator said.

In an earlier podcast with UFC star Sean Strickland, Rogan candidly discussed the topic of fighters’ pay. Lately, this controversial topic has raised many fingers on the UFC and Dana White. According to the podcast host, big names like Strickland are paid well in the UFC as well as in boxing.

However, Rogan believes that the UFC pays undercard fighters better. “Well, there’s money in the UFC for guys like you,” Rogan said, talking about Strickland. “But that’s… also in boxing. The UFC’s better than boxing when it comes to how undercard fighters get paid.” the UFC commentator added.
