“There Is No Answer” – Dana White Responds to Ghosting Accusations Made by Khabib Nurmagomedov

Running a company like the UFC is difficult and time-consuming. Hence, UFC President Dana White seems to be one busy man. Khabib Nurmagomedov’s recent statement further solidified this. ‘The Eagle’ recently said that for the first time in his life, White did not respond to his messages and ghosted him. The 52-year-old learned the former UFC lightweight champion’s comment and replied to it.

In an interview with Brett Okamoto, White said, “Well, it was nothing personal. It was nothing…I got him and Ali all over me about Islam (Makhachev).”

When the head honcho was asked if there was any answer to this from him, he replied, “There is no answer...You know I wanted to do that fight with him and Beneil Dariush.”

Personal or not, the undefeated UFC legend and former top-ranked pound-for-pound fighter might have felt bad that the UFC boss didn’t reply to his message.

After his victory against Justin Gaethje at UFC 254, Khabib Nurmagomedov shocked the world when he retired from the sport. The fighter from Dagestan walked away from MMA with a record of 29-0. His undefeated record and dominance in the cage led to many people calling him the G.O.A.T.

Speaking about it, UFC President Dana White said that he thinks ‘The Eagle’ could be called the greatest ever had he stuck around the sport a little longer. The passing of Nurmagomedov’s father was unfortunate.

White further added that ‘The Eagle’ had gotten to a point in his life where he had a lot of money, which changes everything. In the fight business, when one has that kind of money, it becomes difficult to wake up every day and go.

This debate about who is the G.O.A.T. is a never-ending one. While Nurmagomedov called it a day from the sport, he remains connected to it as a promoter with Eagle FC.
