DC said, “But in my mind, there is no argument. He became the heavyweight champion of the world! I would think that becoming the heavyweight champion of the world in that fashion would weigh more than recovering from very, very serious injuries. But when you came back, you didn’t have to fight one of the scariest men in the world, in the middle of the Octagon, one on one.”

Cormier disapproves of the nominations for Best UFC Fighter

Even though he believes that Jones demonstrated the best comeback of the year, Cormier didn’t think that he deserved to be nominated as the Best UFC Fighter.
