Since his injury, we have not seen ‘The Notorious’ in the octagon. Meanwhile, it seems a new star is emerging and has made the audience draw a lot of comparisons between him and Conor- Paddy Pimblett. ‘Paddy The Baddy’ is a deadly striker and is appreciated as Grappler as well. In his last outing, Pimblett showcased his outstanding valor and won the fight via TKO.

However, UFC President Dana White doesn’t feel this way exactly. Recently in an interview, he supported Pimblett’s achievements but said that no one can replace Conor McGregor.

He said, “Listen, they are two totally different people. There will never be another Conor McGregor. But you know Paddy will have his… you know, however, his career is gonna’ go… Paddy, though is very much like Conor, you know right into the UFC and people were interested in him. He has a lot of fans.” said White.

Can Paddy Pimblett become the Next Conor McGregor?

Paddy Pimblett, who takes pride in his Cage Warriors roots, made his debut in July 2013. Just like McGregor, Pimblett also made his way into the UFC after getting popular in Cage Warriors.

While Pimblett was the lightweight champion in the feeder league, McGregor held both the lightweight and featherweight titles during his time.
