After ‘Funky’ questioned Masvidal’s BMF credentials, following the events of UFC 291, the two have been generating quite a lot of friction on social media. The ‘Gamebred’ fighter replied, “They were offering us some deals and offering him some deals. But he’s a b**ch, you know. And there’s some people who wanted to see me box him and grab. So, I would, I would, I’ll do it right now. Ben, I challenge you to a boxing match, right, and I promise I won’t use my right hand.” He confirmed that he would win nothing but jabs.

He later proposed, “and then after that, we could do a grappling match.” Without a doubt, this would be one of the most interesting rematches, if it materializes.
