Conor McGregor seems to change his mind on certain opinions, like he changes his outfits. His Twitter is unmatched when it comes to banter, and it seems like the gift that keeps on giving. Conor McGregor usually deletes the tweets he might find controversial the night after he posts them. This one, however, seems like it’s here to say.

The Irishman has spoken about the WWE a few times before. Criticizing the sport for its nature of having gimmicks, Conor McGregor talked about how the UFC was for real in contrast to the WWE. He also took shots at WWE legend John Cena in the process. However, Wrestlemania 2022 has won over Conor McGregor. Or as though it seems.

‘The Notorious’ took to Twitter to post something boldly despite taking shots at the promotion various times before.

Why wasn’t I at Wrestlemania? They all fear me, that’s why.” Tweeted McGregor. Therefore, despite criticizing the wrestlers and the sport, McGregor indicates his interest in the WWE.

Can Conor McGregor make an appearance in the WWE?

Wrestlemania 2022 was an insane event for the sport’s fans. It showcased Youtuber and podcast host Logan Paul, who won the event with flying colors. The hype and show that the individual put on must’ve struck a chord in McGregor.

After the Irishman tweeted about the WWE, the promotion replied to his tweet through the @btsportwwe. It’s safe to say that they are more than happy to have him.

Conor McGregor going to the UFC would be a gargantuan event, nonetheless. The trash talk and showmanship alone would make McGregor bathe in the glory of spectatorship. Since entertainment is his number one facet, he’d feel at home at the WWE.

However, professional wrestling comes with its own challenges. Conor McGregor has no previous experience in the sport of professional wrestling. This would mean that he would have to start from scratch to put on a good show for the fans.

The Notorious to the WWE: When is the right time for a move?

The timing needs to be impeccable, however. WWE seems like the last resort for a man of McGregor’s track record in MMA. He wants to continue competing at the highest level of the sport, so his move to WWE does not seem like it will happen any time soon.

The King of Controversies: The Notorious Conor McGregor

Perhaps once his career in the UFC runs dry, McGregor would be better positioned to move to pro wrestling to conclude his overall career. As of now, he remains the biggest draw in all of MMA.
