Amanda Nunes is all ready to face Julianna Peña at UFC 269. After just a couple of hours, the fighters will face each other in an exciting title bout. Nunes has defended her titles several times. She surely steps into this fight as the dominant fighter. It would be interesting to see if Peña can push Nunes to her ultimate limits.

Ahead of her upcoming bout, Nunes spoke to Kevin Iole about her opponent. She feels Miesha Tate and Peña, who happen to be great friends, have very similar fighting styles. The champion said, “Everything about her [Julianna Peña] game, I’ve seen before…. I beat the most tough girl like many times, you know. Even her training partner, best friend [Miesha Tate], you know have that same kind of, the same style.”

She further said, “Actually, I see Miesha Tate fighting, I see Julianna Peña fighting. They are pretty much the same, the same fighter. How they think is the same, how they fight is the same…. They train together before…. All my opponents do the same mistakes, think exactly how Julianna think right now and I beat all of them and I will beat Julianna Peña.”

Nunes has faced the toughest fighters. She snatched the title from Tate back in 2016 and has been ruling ever since. This will be the first time ‘The Lioness’ and Julianna Peña will face each other. Peña is an incredible fighter. Therefore, both the warriors are bound to give their fans something worth remembering for a long time.
