Joe Rogan is known for his deep and insightful conversations on his popular podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE). In one of his recent episodes, Rogan invited Derek Wolfe. The two discussed various topics ranging from Wolfe’s NFL career to animal rights.

Right at the beginning of the podcast, the two discussed the topic of human evolution and origins. During the conversation, Rogan made a hilarious reference to Shaquille O’Neal and Tina Fey to illustrate the concept of human evolution and breeding.

Rogan compared the selective breeding of animals, such as dogs, to the breeding of humans. He highlighted how humans can also exhibit diverse traits based on their genetic makeup, just like different breeds of dogs. To emphasize his point, he used Shaquille O’Neal and Tina Fey as an example.

“But you see someone like Shaquille O’Neal, and then you see like Tina Fey. They could have kids. The size difference, the way they look is so different. We are a lot like domesticated animals in that way”, Rogan said. Shaquille O’Neal is known for his towering height of 7’1″. Tina Fey, on the other hand, is a comedian and actress who stands at just 5’4″.

He used O’Neal and Fey as examples to point out to the humongous size difference in the human species. Rogan went deeper into his scientific talks and compared humans to domesticated dogs from an evolutionary perspective.
