Fighters’ pay has been an issue of controversy now for a long time with the UFC. Mark Hunt, who last competed in 2018 with the organization, has been one of those few ones to get into a legal battle with the promotion.
Hunt entered a lawsuit against his former employer, the UFC. On November 23, it is due to come out. He believes the lawsuit is going to be a tough one for the UFC and its head officials to digest.
In conversation with Submission Radio, he said, “November 23rd is when this Ali Act gets classified and you can see Uncle Dana and Lorenzo and all of them shitting in their undies.”

Hunt continued, “No doubt the Ali act will change it from being 15 or 16 % to at least 50% in favor of the fighters. They are getting paid 16% right now as it is. That shouldn’t be the case.”
Mark Hunt’s UFC career
Mark Hunt had an incredible run in the heavyweight division of the UFC. But, according to the former K-1 World Grand Prix champion, those positive memories were overshadowed by the negative side of it.
He said, “Yeah, it’s gone to real negative because the bad outweighed the good memories. At the end of the day, I ended up fighting against them and not the actual competitors. Not fighting for their world title, fighting to make it even.”
