“They Rob Athletes”: Furious Israel Adesanya Goes Ballistic as Teammate Kai Kara-France Suffers ‘Controversial’ Loss at UFC Vegas 74 Main Event

Controversial judging decisions have been a consistent topic of discussion in the UFC. There have been instances where fans, fighters, and analysts have heavily debated and criticized the judges’ scoring. These questionable decisions often lead to controversy and frustration among fighters and fans alike. The recently concluded fight between Kai Kara-France and Amir Albazi took place at the APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The bout ended with a split-decision victory for Albazi, the seventh-ranked flyweight in the promotion, over Kai Kara-France. Kara-France holds the third spot in the 125-pound division.

However, the decision was met with disappointment and controversy, with some even suggesting it could be considered a robbery. At the moment, Kara-France’s teammate and UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya voiced out his concerns of the unfair scoring of the UFC judges. Moreover, he points out how this practice often destroys a fighter’s entire career and dreams.

During the fight, there were instances where Albazi had Kara-France in precarious situations on the ground. However, Kara-France displayed excellent defensive grappling skills and managed to regain control in his preferred fighting style. Throughout the match, Kara-France landed more strikes and inflicted more damage on his opponent. Despite this, the judge’s decision did not favor him. Israel Adesanya was mad at this and slammed the judges for destroying his close friend’s career.

Adesanya took to his Twitter handle to speak against the injustice faced by the UFC fighter. After posting the scorecards of ‘Don’t Blink’ and ‘The Prince’, ‘The Last Stylebender’ wrote, “I tweeted that before even seeing the scorecards because I knew them two will f*ck it up!! Hoooow many times will they rob athletes of their moments of glory, if their money, their livelihood for their family.”

He further added, “Fuuuuuuu** them c*nts, they need to expire quickly and go. Mike Bell was the only judge to score this properly, the other two deff need to disappear.Adesanya was clearly angry with Chris Lee and Sal D’Amato for scoring in favor of Albazi. Moreover, the middleweight champion proposed a solution to tackle the issue.

At the moment, Kai Kara-France’s fighting career was going downhill as he faced two losses back to back. His last bout was against Brandon Moreno at UFC 277. He lost the bout in the third round via body kicks and punches. Adesanya, being a teammate of Kara-France, felt that his friend’s fighting career was being ruined by the judges.
