Max Holloway speaks about Daniel Cormier being biased

The reason why Daniel Cormier won’t be commentating during Holloway’s fight is that Cormier might be biased while doing so.

Holloway said, “They took him out of the, he’s not fight side anymore. He told me that, they told him that, he does a little bit too much favoritism. So, I guess I gotta chit chat with my man, Michael Bisping, gonna be there. So he’s gonna be yelling, getting out that about something.”

Cormier is one of the most sought-after UFC commentators. Being biased while commentating will definitely not reflect well on him, Holloway, or the sport. Hence, it looks like not having Cormier commentate Holloway’s fight was the best option.

People have accused Cormier of being biased towards certain fighters before too. UFC fighter Justin Gaethje felt he was biased towards Islam Makhachev and did not hesitate to call him out.
