Dillon Danis accuses Bellator of taking his money

The Dillon Danis vs. Logan Paul bout turned out to be quite peculiar, with Danis notably refraining from throwing many punches at Paul. The aftermath of their bout was the laying off of Danis. Bellator released Danis. Interestingly, Danis has expressed his interest in joining the UFC and has approached Dana White for it.

In the middle of this commotion, Danis has accused the Bellator administration of taking a significant amount of money from him for his fight against Logan Paul. He accused Bellator of taking $100000 from him and using him as a selling point.

‘El Jefe’ took to Instagram to add the comment. He said “They took 100k from me to box Logan before being sold, but wouldn’t cut me loose when I begged, because they were using me as a selling point for this deal to get more money for them. Imagine how I feel. What”

Dillon Danis seems to have announced his retirement or is he? Days ago the former Bellator fighter had claimed that he met the UFC CEO Dana White for talking about his inclusion in UFC.

Dillon Danis now wants to compete in the UFC even though he has yet to fight any prominent match in 4 years. The fighter is not willing to compete in Dana White’s contender series either. Danis in a conversation with Ariel Helwani said “Everybody wants to see me in the UFC, I think.”

He further added “I don’t care who I fight. I said this to [UFC CEO] Dana White, I don’t care who I fight. I’ll fight anybody and I’ll beat anybody. I’m ready to go. People think just because I did a boxing match that my jiu-jitsu isn’t on a different level,” continued Danis. “I’ll fight [UFC lightweight champion] Islam [Makhachev] for my first fight. I’ll fight any of them for my first fight. I swear.”
