Former UFC fighter Paige VanZant seems to have a lot on her plate at the moment. The athlete had recently signed a contract with ‘All Elite Wrestling’. The contract also allows her to compete in the BKFC. So she is currently at the top of her game.

As a result, it looks like the fighter has got several other opportunities post her stint with the UFC. In a recent interview with ‘MMA Fighting’, VanZant spoke about her plans with AEW, her return to BKFC, as well as her past experience with the UFC.

Speaking about the MMA promotion, VanZant said, “Yeah, the UFC doesn’t necessarily allow the contracts to benefit the fighters. It’s business. They want to benefit themselves. That’s how they become successful and I get how business works but I’m in the Paige VanZant business. So I’m just trying to make as much money as possible while I can.”

’12 Gauge’ had started her professional MMA career back in 2012. After just a few fights, she entered the UFC in the year 2014. However, post her submission loss to Amanda Ribas in 2020, she bid farewell to the promotion.

She, however, found her place in BKFC and AEW. Moreover, the fighter is not closed off to continuing her MMA career. Hence, it would be interesting to see if she chooses to pick her MMA career at some point. But for now, it looks like BKFC and AEW have joined hands together to support VanZant’s combat career.
