

UFC’s beloved color commentator Joe Rogan runs one of the greatest podcast shows in the world. ‘ The Joe Rogan Experience’ has been around for over a decade and now has millions of listeners around the world. Many famous personalities like Elon Musk, Kanye West, and Robert Downey Jr have been on the show.
At one point, there were even rumors of the former President of the United States, Donald Trump, making an appearance on the podcast show. However, despite of the talks, the former president has still not been a part of the Joe Rogan Experience.
In an episode of the JRE show, Rogan addressed why Donald Trump has not come on the show yet.

The guest on his show asked Rogan what the status was of having Trump on the show and if he has thought about it. To that Rogan said, “not really. They kept coming back. They wanted me to do it at the White House.”

“Maybe, I would have thought about like to do like a real three-hour thing. But either way, the problem is this. It’s a real problem in that I don’t want anybody to be uncomfortable, and I don’t think it’s my role. Like if I’m talking to someone like him, there’s some uncomfortable things that have to be addressed,” he added.

Rogan faced a great deal of backlash for his remarks regarding covid-19. Before the controversies blew up, Rogan was apparently being approached by various people who wanted to be a part of his podcast show.

In an episode of the FLAGRANT podcast show, Rogan said that he would just avoid such figures that are in powerful positions by simply ghosting them. He continued, “before like a lot of the controversy and the Spotify stuff, they were looking at the podcast as a way for people to get on there and have a chance to shape the narrative……. I think they would look at it as like a unique way to manipulate public information or public, uh concepts.”
