Tony Ferguson and Paddy Pimblett are set to clash at UFC 296 in what appears to be a perfectly matched fight. Nevertheless, the storyline takes an intriguing turn as Ferguson enters the bout on a six-fight losing streak, while Pimblett boasts a six-fight winning streak.

Despite the apparent alignment of their trajectories, Michael Bisping holds a different perspective on the matchup. ‘The Count’ believes despite Ferguson’s lackluster performance in recent times he still holds enough experience to wreck Pimblet. Michael Bisping is happy that Ferguson is training with Goggins but he finds it rather unsettling. The former middleweight champion stated that Ferguson’s training with Goggins might go against him. . “he’s training with David Goggins. I don’t get it. I don’t understand that,” said Bisping

He further added “Listen if you wanna go out there and you wanna run ultramarathons, you wanna run across Africa, you wanna go to the top of the Himalayas. Get involved with David Goggins. Jon Jones had him. I’m sure he’s very good at giving a speech . . . I don’t think Tony necessarily needs that.”
