Jasmine Jasudavicius surprised the UFC community with her spectacular victory against Gabriella Fernandez. Throughout the fight, the 33-year-old made sure that she dominated her opponent, and the bout ended with a unanimous decision after round three. Jasudavicius stepped into the UFC world through Dana White’s Contender Series, where she fought against Julia Polastri. Her victory via decision in the fight paved her way to the world’s biggest MMA promotion. In the promotion, she won two of the three fights she fought.
Her last victory helped her to cement her position in the UFC stronger than ever before. In her post-fight press conference, Jasudavicius talked about one of her dreams. Nonetheless, she would not have expected the least that she would have to face so much criticism from the fans.

Fans criticize Jasmine Jasudavicius because she wants to be the Canadian female GSP
As reported by MMA junkie, while the 33-year-old was in an interview, she told how she thinks there is a need for UFC in Canada. Being a Canadian herself, she said how people in her homeland love to watch MMA. She added, “Me and Mike Malott, who’s also fighting tonight, we could be on that card and all our friends and family can come. I think it will really grow the sport in Canada. I want to be the female (Georges St-Pierre). I’m not as nice and I’m not the same humbleness and everything like that, but we need another Canadian star.”

During the further conversation, she stated, “And I feel like between Mike and I, we can really grow the sport within Canada. Toronto, baby. Toronto. Mike, his family is right in Toronto. We’re just in Niagara Falls, really close. Toronto would be perfect.”
Fans got furious after learning that she wants to be a Canadian Georges St-Pierre. They questioned her for comparing herself with one of the greatest MMA fighters in history.

Jasmine Jasudavicius says her next plan is to get ready for her upcoming fights. She definitely does not want to take any long breaks from her UFC career at the moment. The Canadian fighter is aiming to do her best in the coming days. During the interview, she also added that her aim is to win the belt.
