

UFC light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz won the award for being the MMA ambassador of his country. The Polish superstar is one of the top European stars in the UFC at the moment. He has certainly put his country, Poland, on the global MMA map with his championship accolades.
Blachowicz knocked out Dominick Reyes at UFC 253 to capture the vacant 205 lbs gold after Jon Jones left the division for a move to heavyweight. Now, after winning the MMA ambassador award for his country, the Polish star has expressed his gratitude towards his fans and team.

The light-heavyweight division has a new champion after a long time whose name is not Daniel Cormier or Jon Jones. Despite a rocky start to his UFC career, where he lost 4 of his first 6 bouts in the promotion, he turned the tide around and achieve the pinnacle of success in the sport.
He deserves every bit of appreciation he is receiving at the moment from fans and experts across the world.
Jan Blachowicz returns at UFC 259
The champion will defend his strap against the middleweight king Israel Adesanya at UFC 259 in March. A mouth-watering clash between the two champions has the fans excited, and rightfully so.

‘Stylebender’ on the other hand, will look to create UFC history, as he aims to become a two-division UFC champion- a feat few fighters have achieved.

How Blachowicz fares against a unique striker like Adesanya remains to be seen. The undefeated middleweight champion has to be careful about Blachowicz’s power, though. The legendary Polish power has been on display in the UFC on several occasions.
