Max ‘Blessed’ Holloway came in with one thing on his mind: destruction, and that’s exactly what he delivered. The former featherweight champion took center stage to showcase one of his best performances.

Justin Gaethje came in as the strong favorite in this match, but Holloway had different plans. From the very first round, Holloway was in control of the match. The reverse round kick to Gaethje’s nose was the turning point of the game, as it blocked ‘Highlight’s nose, which in turn hampered his cardio. ‘Highlight’ tried to maintain composure and calm the situation but Holloway’s boxing was too much for the former ‘BMF’ belt holder.

During the third round, Gaethje gained some momentum and knocked Holloway to the canvas but the Hawaiian was quick to respond to the threat that was coming his way and maintained his posture.

In the final ten seconds, Holloway went classic and knocked out the former champ with just one second to go. As described by Dana White, that was one of the best moments in the promotion’s history.
