In a recent Instagram story, he couldn’t contain his excitement, hinting that he’s gearing up to spill the beans in a few days. This was after the boxing community announced the Ngannou vs. Joshua scene. White’s words hyped up the MMA community, who were expecting an announcement from him. However, it seems the UFC head honcho was in the mood to joke, as his latest announcement does not justify his words.

Dana White took to his Instagram handle to add a post about Powerslap and not the UFC. White stated that people could now watch Powerslap for free. He captioned the post as “14 hours of nonstop @powerslap is STREAMING FREE all day on Rumble!” His announcement didn’t sit well with the fans who were waiting for a genuine response. Following this showdown, all eyes will shift to Sean Strickland‘s title defense against Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 297. The fights are highly anticipated because these fighters have bad blood for each other, specifically Strickland and Du Plessis.

At UFC 298, it will be Alexander Volkanovski vs. Ilia Topuria, the Robert Whittaker vs. Paulo Costa fight, and Ian Garry vs. Geoff Neal. UFC 300 teases three epic matchups: Jiri Prochazka vs. Aleksandar Rakic, Aljamain Sterling vs. Calvin Kattar, and Bo Nickal vs. Cody Brundage. Seven massive fights are set for an action-packed 2024.
