UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal is an avid Donald Trump supporter. He has spoken in Trump’s favor several times. However, he recently took to Twitter to speak about the hiking gas prices and inflation, addressing US President Joe Biden.

Masvidal wrote, “High gas, high inflation, high taxes. Someone tell Joe this isn’t what we meant by “Let’s get high””.

Many Twitter users commented on his tweet. While some agreed with him, others took to the comments to explain how the administration and economy work.

Moreover, this isn’t the first time Jorge Masvidal tweeted criticizing Joe Biden. He has done so several times before. Similarly, he has shared his thoughts about Trump on many occasions.

In fact, Masvidal’s arch-rival, Colby Covington, is a Trump fan as well and has spoken about the former president many times. Besides this, Trump follows UFC and has been spotted at several events. UFC President Dana White shares a good relationship with him.

Hence, when Covington and Masvidal faced each other at UFC 272, both questioned each other’s support for Trump. ‘Chaos’ has called his former friend a ‘fake‘ Trump supporter. Covington went on to win their UFC 272 fight.

However, this only increased their rivalry. As a result, this led to Masvidal punching Covington on the streets of Miami. He allegedly broke Covington’s tooth and thus, landed in problems with the law.

What’s next for Jorge Masvidal?

The UFC 272 loss was Masvidal’s third loss in a row. Hence, he was dejected by the loss. However, as reported by ‘MMA Mania‘, after his loss, Masvidal intended to get back to the gym and get himself on the track.

Losing to Covington via a unanimous decision was a big blow for the fighter. Taking into consideration his history with his opponent, the fight loss was a personal one. Hence, it would be interesting to see ‘Gamebred’ back in the Octagon soon. Do you think he should face Covington once again?
