Dana White had the support of long-time commentator Joe Rogan during his journey to get UFC to the pinnacle of MMA. The former ‘Fear Factor’ host has been working with him for almost three decades now. When asked about the 56-year-old’s loyalty to White, the UFC CEO mentioned what lengths he would go to keep Rogan in his promotion.

Joe Rogan first appeared in a UFC show back in 1997, as the first backstage interviewer the promotion ever had. During a recent interview with Lex Fridman, Dana White revealed that Joe Rogan’s contribution to the UFC’s growth has helped the promotion to become popular in numerous ways. The UFC CEO praised the 56-year-old for making time for UFC despite being the biggest podcast host in the world and running a comedy club on the side.

“He’s the biggest podcaster in the world and he is on the UFC PPVs 14 times a year and he’s always talking about the sport. It’s immeasurable what this guy has done for this company and this sport,” said White. Responding to Fridman’s question about Rogan’s controversy a few years ago, White declared unconditional support for his longtime commentator.

“Anybody who is with me, has been with me, knows when you’re with me, you’re with me. It’s a two-way street,” he said. In addition, the 54-year-old expressed his deep affection for the remarkable individuals who have dedicated their time and effort to the UFC over the years. Fully appreciating their immense contributions, the CEO is resolute in retaining their services, showing no interest in parting ways.

“I‘m not one of these guys who’s going to roll over… Some of these people have been with me for 20 years. We’re going to lay them off? Mm-hm,” Dana White added. He then shed light on what would take for him to consider laying off his loyal UFC staff members. Let’s have a look at that front.

Dana White made one thing clear. He or the UFC should face some catastrophe before he decides to make Joe Rogan or any of the longtime members of the UFC family lose their jobs. He assured that as long as he ran the show, his employees need not be worried about their job security. White further stated, “This motherf***er will burn before I do that to my people. None of that type of stuff is ever going to happen while I’m here.”
