Even though it was a tough battle for the 32-year-old, she made it look easy with her dominance over Andrade. Suarez tried her best to go for a takedown against the former strawweight titleholder in the very first round, but she became greatly unsuccessful in the attempt as Andrade managed to get back to her feet. During the entire bout, the Californian native did her best to make Andrade tap out of the battle. After several attempts, she became successful in the second round.

UFC Champion material 100%!” However, the tweet was later deleted. There are very few MMA fighters who have found a place in ‘The Notorious’s good books, and Suarez was lucky enough to be one of them.

Suarez’s victory over Andrade has taken her close to the title shot against Weili Zhang. The Californian fighter’s last bout was against Montana De La Rosa, and back then, she secured a similar submission victory. On the other hand, Andrade is going downhill in her fighting career as she has lost three consecutive fights. These back-to-back losses have provoked fight fans to demand she retire from the sport.
