Joe Rogan experiencing the fact-checkers of his world

In 2020, Joe Rogan hosted politician Douglas Murray. It was right after the disastrous fires in California that were massive enough to convert the whole landscape. Rogan and Murray discussed the issue and Rogan voiced his belief on how he thought people were arrested for being involved in causing the wildfires.

“They’ve arrested left-wing people for lighting these forest fires,” he had said only to be quickly flamed by CNN and many online. No arrests were made by the FBI or the local police. And Rogan’s claims were completely baseless. The color commentator very quickly apologized for his mistake and cleared the air.

The next time around, it was Rogan claiming that the riots inside and outside of the Capitol Building on the 6th of January, 2021 were orchestrated. He was certain in his belief of the conspiracy theory that sounded way too off for something so chaotic. “The Jan. 6 thing is bad, but also, the intelligence agencies were involved in provoking people into the Capitol Building. That’s a fact.”

Of course, he claimed intelligence agencies were in on it and the lash out was quick against him. This time though, Rogan didn’t back off from his claims. It was just like the time he believed in the ‘Bondo Ape’ theory. A theory that is now debunked that claimed the existence of a super-ape that could walk upright like human beings. What happened during the session of his podcast?

Rogan went ballistic on a scientist

When Rogan proudly and strongly claimed the truth about the ‘Bondo Ape’ theory, he found it best to call an actual primatologist from Florida. The scientist who would only identify herself as Alison did nothing to back Rogan up and only opposed his theory.
