Joe Rogan, who has become synonymous with the UFC, is a man of many talents. Along with being a color commentator and podcast host, Rogan is also a successful stand-up comedian. The veteran color commentator also has a tour lined up, that ends a day before UFC 278, which will see Kamaru Usman defend his welterweight title against Leon Edwards.

On his Instagram, Rogan shared a post notifying his fans that the tickets for his show on August 19 are available. Sharing the post, Rogan said, “General on sale tickets are now available for August 19 in Salt Lake City tix at http://joerogan.com.” The prices of these tickets start from $49 and go up to $150.

While Rogan will perform in Salt Lake City on August 19, UFC 278 will take place on August 20, 2022. However, his fans do not need to worry as the UFC event will happen in Salt Lake City too. Hence, the probability of Rogan commentating at UFC 278 is very high.

The veteran color commentator is passionate about martial arts. However, he also has the same passion for stand-up comedy, which has given him so much success in the field. Rogan once also revealed how he started doing stand-up comedy.
Joe Rogan on how he became a stand-up comedian
Fans and followers of Joe Rogan know about his proficiency in Martial Arts. The UFC color commentator has been training since he was a kid. Rogan revealed that his career in Martial Arts is what paved the way for stand-up comedy.

In an episode of his podcast, Rogan revealed he got talked into doing stand-up comedy because of his friends in martial arts. The podcast host said, “We would go to compete like or we would be about to spar and I would be the guy who would make everybody laugh because everybody was so nervous.”
He further said that in order to take part in competitions, he and his friends would hop on a bus and travel across the country. This experience was nerve-wracking. Rogan said, “Everyone was super nervous… I would always like, be doing impressions… making jokes. This was like long before I ever thought about being a comedian. I was just trying to lighten up the mood. And that’s how I got into stand-up.”

Rogan enjoys a lot of success in his stand-up comedy career. While his comedy fans will hope for a great show, MMA fans on the other hand will look forward to Rogan’s commentary at UFC 278.
