Using banned substances is not something new in MMA. Almost every other day, we get to hear fighters accusing each other of steroid abuse. Meanwhile, UFC fighter T.J. Dillashaw’s case is something that is still fresh in every UFC fan’s mind. A couple of years ago, The USADA convicted T.J. Dillashaw for using the performance-enhancing drug EPO.

Later, Dillashaw accepted a two-year suspension for the same. However, UFC middleweight fighter Sean Strickland does not think the punishment to be fair.

Sean Strickland thinks they should punish the use of steroids in professional MMA with a lifetime ban. In a recent tweet, the ‘Tarzan’ also accused American anti-doping agency USADA of discrimination.

He said, “Only thing @usantidoping is good at is catching broke fighters who can’t afford good shit lol! Steroids should be a life time ban.. @TJDillashaw is the absolute scum of the earth and should never be allowed to compete I’m the UFC again.. You ruined people’s careers you’re scum.”

Sean Strickland accuses Israel Adesanya from using steroids

Recently, the 30-year-old also blamed the UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya for using steroids. He told this to MMAJunkie while stating his aspirations of getting a title fight by the end of the next year.

“At least a title shot (by the end of the year). I’m one of the hardest training fighters in the UFC and I’ll do everything I can to get to a title shot, and if it happens, let’s f*cking go, Izzy. I’m f*cking ready. Make sure to cycle off, though. I don’t want to f*cking bring you a bra if you don’t hit the right cycle.” Strickland said.

The term “Cycle off” here shows that Strickland is alleging ‘The Last ‘Style bender’ of using performance-enhancing drugs. This allegation has its roots in Adesanya’s title defense against Paulo Costa. As the middleweight champion had swollen on his right pectoral muscle, which some believed to be caused by gynecomastia.
