Using banned substances is not something new in MMA. Almost every other day, we get to hear fighters accusing each other of steroid abuse. Meanwhile, UFC fighter T.J. Dillashaw’s case is something that is still fresh in every UFC fan’s mind. A couple of years ago, The USADA convicted T.J. Dillashaw for using the performance-enhancing drug EPO.

Sean Strickland accuses Israel Adesanya from using steroids
Recently, the 30-year-old also blamed the UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya for using steroids. He told this to MMAJunkie while stating his aspirations of getting a title fight by the end of the next year.

“At least a title shot (by the end of the year). I’m one of the hardest training fighters in the UFC and I’ll do everything I can to get to a title shot, and if it happens, let’s f*cking go, Izzy. I’m f*cking ready. Make sure to cycle off, though. I don’t want to f*cking bring you a bra if you don’t hit the right cycle.” Strickland said.

The term “Cycle off” here shows that Strickland is alleging ‘The Last ‘Style bender’ of using performance-enhancing drugs. This allegation has its roots in Adesanya’s title defense against Paulo Costa. As the middleweight champion had swollen on his right pectoral muscle, which some believed to be caused by gynecomastia.
