The footage revealed White being slapped by his wife before he responded with a slap of his own. This shocking incident has left people wondering what transpired between the couple that led to the altercation during their celebrations. Eventually, both the couple released their statements following the fracas, with Anne defending her husband and requesting privacy.

Dana White: His wife’s statement on the altercation
As the alleged footage of the altercation started making the rounds on various media pages, the couple spent no time releasing their statements. The duo, now married for almost 30 years, made clear with their disclosure that there was no conflict between the two. Anne also partly blamed the situation on both of them getting drunk while also maintaining that nothing of this sort has ever transpired between the two before.

Her statement read: “Dana and I have been married for almost 30 years. To say this is out of character for him is an understatement — nothing like this has ever happened before. Unfortunately, we were both drinking too much on New Year’s Eve and things got out of control, on both sides.”

“We’ve talked this through as a family and apologized to each other. I just hope people will respect our privacy for the sake of our kids.”
What happened at the nightclub between the couple?
As per the released footage taken at Cabo San Lucas nightclub in Mexico, the UFC President can be seen saying something to his wife before she responded with a slap. The UFC President slapped her back, which led to a mini fracas at the nightclub where people were also seen dancing very close to them. The quarrel seemed to have been dispelled quickly, as the footage did not show any altercation taking place after that.
Dana White also apologized in his statement, claiming he was embarrassed and that it was the first time the couple has had an altercation like this.
