UFC play-by-play commentator Jon Anik has gone viral on social media due to a hilarious incident that occurred during a podcast episode. He apparently fell off his chair during ‘The Anik and Florian Podcast’. Fans found this amusing and shared their reactions in a post shared by the commentator himself.

The UFC commentary team, while being some of the most exciting commentators in combat sports, also has its fair share of hilarious moments. However, this time, things happened away from the octagon and during a podcast. Let us take a look at what transpired in the incident that has fans erupting in laughter.

As usual, former UFC fighter Kenny Florian and Jon Anik joined together with guest, Brian Petrie for another episode of their podcast. They were discussing the UFC’s return to Jacksonville with an event headlined by Ilia Topuria and Josh Emmett. Jon Anik happened to bring up something about middleweight fighter Marvin Vettori when he fell off his chair while trying to lean back a little.

His podcast co-host Florian and guest Petrie were not expecting that. They immediately burst out laughing. When Anik got back up, he urged his co-host to keep the footage, which he proceeded to share on his Instagram handle. Let us see what the fans had to say.

There was no shortage of hilarity in the comments section when the UFC commentator shared the footage on social media.

Fellow broadcast member Laura Sanko commented on his post, judging the incident and scoring in favor of the chair. She said, “10-8 …dominance and damage (not much duration but in this case not necessary).”  Former UFC fighter Dan Hardy also shared his amusement at the incident with a laughing emoji. The fans also shared a laugh with the notable UFC figures, claiming that Anik’s fight with the chair ended with an early stoppage. Additionally, another fan recalled the incident from UFC 287 when Joe Rogan pushed Jon Anik off his chair after Israel Adesanya‘s devastating knockout win over Alex Pereira. Some fans even suggested that the fight needed Herb Dean to interfere to ensure the safety of the 44-year-old commentator. One fan even claimed that Colby Covington gifted the chair to Anik.
