Hollywood star Tom Hardy was in the crowd at the UFC Fight Night 238 card at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. And like many of the fans, he did not seem to have had a good time at the event headlined by a heavyweight clash between Jairzinho Rozenstruik stop Shamil Gaziev, which the former won in the fourth round after the referee stopped the bout due to Gaziev being unable to continue. While this may have been Hardy’s first UFC event, his love for martial arts runs deep.

Not many know but BJJ blue belt holder Tom Hardy is a serious martial artist. Having earned his brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, the 45-year-old still has what it takes as he displayed by winning a gold prize at the 2022 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open Championship in England.

His enthusiasm for martial arts saw him star in the 2011 flick ‘Warrior’, a film about two estranged brothers who have to fight each other at the end of a mega-tournament and featured many real-life combat sports stars including Kurt Angle, Nate Marquardt, and Anthony Johnson.

And it seems ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ star is also a fan of mixed martial arts as he was spotted in attendance at the Vegas card on Sunday which saw Tyson Pedro bid adieu to sport after his unanimous decision loss to Vitor Petrino in their lackluster co-main event bout. After a picture of Hardy not looking too thrilled with the largely underwhelming and uneventful card started doing the rounds, fans used it to express their own disappointment with the event.

Fans react to Tom Hardy looking morose at UFC event

Fans took to social media and sympathized with Tom Hardy looking let down by the card. Here is what they said about it.

Clearly, fans unanimously agree on two things: that UFC Fight Night 238 card did not meet the already lower expectations of a Fight Night card, and that Tom Hardy, like everyone watching did not enjoy it. What are your thoughts on the event?
