At Bellator 299, which was held in Dublin, Fabian Edwards took his title shot opportunity and entered a fight against Johnny Eblen. The two went back-and-forth but in the third round, Eblen dropped Edwards with an overhand right and some lethal ground punches. Edwards lost that fight and later, sent out a tweet to the fans.

Leon Edwards has been hailed as a really competent UFC champion. Naturally, even Fabian Edwards wanted to get a championship title. However, from the Tweet, it is evident that the loss broke Edwards’ heart.
