Tony Ferguson got a befitting reply from team Khabib

Tony Ferguson is coming off with a seven-streak losing streak and his last fight against Paddy Pimblet was a brutal one. The fighter has not been the same since his fight against Justin Gaethje and Michael Chandler, with his last win coming in June, 2019.

On the other hand, Khabib Nurmagomedov has retired from the world of MMA altogether, and seems like he has no plans on returning. In his most recent escapade, “El Cuccy” has attacked Khabib Nurmagomedov with a post on his Instagram handle. The fighter has uploaded a video of them fighting in the UFC video game with Ferguson dominating Nurmagomedov.

To anyone who is wondering what’s wrong with that post and the quotes. Well, Ferguson poked fun of ‘The Eagle’s physique. However, Team Khabib was swift in their response to provide a befitting reply to Ferguson’s endeavor. Usman Nurmagomedov took to his Instagram handle to add a photo of him alongside Khabib Nurmagomedov with a caption that read “Always in shape”.

It was rather uncommon for Ferguson to call out Nurmagomedov all of a sudden. So what triggered the fighter to make such a statement against the former lightweight champion?
