Like most UFC fights, this bout has also seen a fair share of drama and banter before coming to fruition. In January, both fighters went back and forth on Twitter after an initial callout by ‘El Cucuy’, who thrashed ‘Iron’ for ducking him and calling out Conor McGregor instead.
Ferguson called Chandler his “bi**h” and it did not sit well with the former UFC title challenger, who replied respectfully, followed by a chilling warning.
