Former UFC lightweight interim champion Tony Ferguson responded to the fan-favorite Nate Diaz after he called out the whole UFC roster on his official Twitter account.

The fan-favorite Nate Diaz is currently waiting for the last fight of his UFC contract. However, there has been a long delay in the making of his last fight, which has agitated the Stockton slugger. And Diaz has been expressing his frustration on Twitter.

While continuing his thread, Diaz recently called out the whole UFC roaster. “UFC Wass good wit a fight in July is the whole roster scared or what?”, Nate Diaz wrote in his latest tweet.

Interestingly, the UFC lightweight contender Tony Ferguson had an uncanny response to Diaz’s tweet. ‘El Cucuy’ posted a smirking face gif in the comment section.

‘El Cucuy’ recently made his UFC return after a year-long break at UFC 274. Unfortunately, he suffered a brutal knockout loss in the fight. However, he has stated to come back stronger in his next bout and UFC lightweight contender Beneil Dariush has this advice for him.

“I actually think Tony has the right idea right now. He’s talking about working with the team, having people who can push him, having a head coach where he’s not the head coach, where he doesn’t wake up and be like ‘I feel like doing this’.” Dariush said in an interview with The Schmo.

The 38-year-old Ferguson is currently on a four-fight skid. He must get back to the winning column to stay relevant in the promotion. Interestingly, Ferguson has stated that he would possibly work with a team for his next UFC appearance, which will surely give him a push.

However, there has been no official announcement of the next potential opponents of Tony Ferguson. Moreover, even though he lost his last fight, ‘El Cucuy’ is still holding the number nine position in the lightweight division. Hence, a name among the top-10 of the roster would be a good match for the former interim champion.
