Fans know MMA fighter Jorge Masvidal for his incredible striking and dodging skills. He is also an avid social media user and has a habit of keeping busy online. Masvidal often puts up his views about issues related to the fight game through his social media handles. This time, he took a dig at rival, Conor McGregor.

The ‘BMF’ title winner, took to Instagram to vent his views on a recent post of ‘ESPN MMA’ which was about, “6 Potential Opponents for Conor McGregor”.

However, this was excluding Floyd Mayweather.

Masvidal was on the list for McGregor

The ‘BMF’ star of UFC also found a mention of himself as one of McGregor’s worthy opponents in the ‘ESPN MMA’ post. While the other ones on the list were, Charles Oliveira, Paddy Pimblett, Alexander Volkanovski, Justin Gaethje, and the last one was anyone who wasn’t a champion.

‘Gamebred’ commented on ESPN MMA’s post commenting, “Too much man for him”.

It was apparent that Masvidal was taunting McGregor. Both personalities have a lot of heat between them.

‘The Notorious’ and the ‘Gamebred’, both have a flashy fighting style. They often tend to defy their opponents with their words, along with their fists, elbows, and knees. Things are bound to go brutal along with a lot of showboating once these two meet inside the octagon.

Most fans chose to revolt against Jorge Masvidal

Masvidal’s comment on the post outraged the majority of the fans. Some of them brought up his past losses to troll him as they commented, “Colby smacked you about kid” and “as usman was for you”.

Others had different measures to mock him. They mentioned “boy shut up” and “he’d slap you up”.

While the most brutal were the ones who didn’t consider Masvidal man enough to face McGregor. Their comments read, “says the guy who’s has to sucker people” and “u ain’t a man beta boy”.

Regardless of what the replies to Masvidal’s comment were, most MMA fans would be delighted to watch a McGregor vs Masvidal showdown. In fact, several fans thought it was a great matchup. There may be different opinions about the victor of this possible matchup, but such a big fight would excite fans.
