UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin has joined the Power Slap League as a head catcher. When fans learned this news about the former UFC light heavyweight champion, they shared their thoughts about the news on social media.

Hence, White may have made the decision to sign Griffin to attach a reputed MMA name to the Power Slap League to increase its popularity. The former champion spilled the beans on his new job description.

Forrest Griffin shed light on his Power Slap League role

While speaking about his inclusion in the Power Slap League, Griffin said to TMZ, “I’m gonna be a head catcher… That double impact, you’ve taken the first trauma and when your head hits the ground, bang bang, both sides of your brain actually bounce against your skull.”

Furthermore, the former UFC fighter said the officials wanted to prevent any additional damage participants might get by falling.
