Despite going the distance, Team McGregor was dealt a crushing blow, which could be described as their most brutal loss to date. Aaron McKenzie displayed resilience by weathering the storm and making it into the second round, offering a ray of hope to McGregor’s team following their previous devastating knockout defeats.
However, things took a dramatic turn for the worse as McKenzie’s ground game proved to be his downfall, resulting in severe cuts around his eye and cheek. This unfortunate turn of events necessitated McKenzie’s transport to the hospital in an ambulance.
