Justin Gaethje has been one of many people in the promotion that has been extremely critical of McGregor. The American fighter has repeatedly taken to social media to fire shots at ‘The Notorious’ for his transgressions outside the octagon. It’s no secret that ‘The Highlight’ despises the Irish fighter. 

Most recently Conor McGregor was in the news for leaking screenshots of his conversations with Dana White. The screenshots showed him wanting to fight Gaethje. However, he did not want to wait too long in between his fights. ‘The Highlight’ took to Twitter to side with White and slandered, ‘The Notorious’.

Justin Gaethje gives his thoughts on Conor McGregor

In a recent interview, Adam Catterall asked Justin Gaethje what he thought of the recent incident between Dana White and McGregor. He was also asked his thoughts on a potential match up with ‘The Notorious’.

Justin replied, “I’ve tweeted him. I’ve called him a sh*t father, human, husband. That was in October, he fought ‘Cowboy’ in January. He had every opportunity to fight me, and he passed every time. The times he said he was going to fight, I never got a call from the UFC.”

Gaethje continued, “Again, he chose ‘Cowboy’, I just knocked ‘Cowboy’ out. That was a bit*h move…. You guys (The media) jump on board and act like it’s the fight to make, and it’s going to be awesome. That was a bit*h move. It will be a bit*h move for the rest of his life”

The interim lightweight champion has been gunning for a fight against ‘The Notorious’ for a long time. However, the UFC president replied saying the earliest that the fight could happen would be July. This did not sit well with him.

‘The Highlight’ added that he did not pay too much attention to what was going on outside the octagon as he had a title fight coming up next. In true Justin Gaethje fashion, he added that he is open to fight anyone once he defeats Khabib this weekend. Do you think we will get to see a fight between Justin Gaethje and Conor McGregor?
