Lemos prefers to strike and has 5 TKO victories to show for it. This will be her first-ever pay-per-view appearance. Albeit at 33, Lemos is the elder fighter, but she has considerably less experience than her counterpart Souza. She last defeated Mizuki Inoue in August 2020.
The UFC 259 card is already totally stacked. There are 3 title fights booked already. Jan Blachowicz will defend his light-heavyweight belt against Israel Adesanya. Amanda Nunes will defend her featherweight gold against Megan Anderson. And, Petr Yan is set to defend her bantamweight title against Aljamain Sterling in a mouth-watering clash.
Amanda Lemos and Livinha Souza has the perfect opportunity to shine
Dominick Cruz, Islam Makachev, Drew Dober, Thiago Santos, Alexander Rakic, and more, are all part of this outstanding card. UFC 259 is certainly an early contender for the fight card of the year status.
