A rematch between the current UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya and the #3 middleweight contender Marvin Vettori will headline the UFC 263 event on Saturday, 12 June 2021. It will be an intriguing fight, as the champion will enter the cage on the back of his first MMA loss. However, he is still the belt holder as he suffered a defeat at light heavyweight.

Another enticing aspect of this fight will be that his opponent, Marvin Vettori, took him to the judges’ scorecards in their first fight and suffered a split decision loss. Given that first fight, and Adesanya‘s susceptibility to grappling exposed at UFC 259, fans have been curious about the location as they would want to be in the arena for this blockbuster.

According to MMA Island, the venue of the UFC 263: Adesanya vs. Vettori 2 is almost finalized. The UFC 263 event is going to take place in Phoenix, Arizona. The Phoenix Suns Arena is a probable location for the event.

Another option is the Glendale Arena (also known as Gila River Arena). There have already been other UFC events in this Arena, for example, UFC on Fox: Poirier vs. Gaethje in 2018. Hence, this venue is also a candidate. And considering the UFC 263 main event, it would be a fitting venue as Adesanya and Vettori clashed for the first time at the Glendale Arena itself.
