The UFC 265 event is all set to be one of the most exciting MMA events of the year. The Heavyweight clash between Derrick Lewis and Ciryl Gane is all set to headline this event. While most fans are excited about this fight, as it is for the interim UFC heavyweight title. There is a plethora of other exciting fights set for the Early Preliminary event as well. One such fight is the Flyweight clash between Manel Kape and Ode Osbourne.
Kape is a veteran MMA fighter and this weekend will compete in his 22nd professional MMA fight. ‘Prodigo’ started his MMA career back in 2012 and has an MMA record of (15-6). In his last fight, Kape faced Matheus Nicolau at the UFC Vegas 21 event and lost via split decision.

This was Kape’s second loss in a row as he had earlier lost his UFC Vegas 18 fight against Alexandre Pantoja. Now at 27 years of age, Kape will look to defeat Osbourne and move up in the UFC Flyweight rankings. Osbourne is relatively inexperienced in MMA, having just competed in 13 MMA fights till now. However, ‘The Jamaican Sensation’ has an impressive MMA record of (9-3-0), 1 NC.

Osbourne made his MMA debut in 2015 against Brent Lee and won that fight via a 2nd round submission. Since then, the fighter has performed admirably and has gone to prove himself in the Flyweight division. In his latest fight, ‘The Jamaican Sensation’ defeated Jerome Rivera via a 1st round KO.

Both Kape and Osbourne have great potential and have unique styles. However, Kape is more tested against top-tier opponents and will prove to be a challenge for Osbourne. Although Osbourne has shown great potential and can surprise ‘Prodigio’ in this fight.
