Song Yadong is a young Chinese mixed martial artist who has competed in 7 UFC fights. The fighter made his UFC debut in 2017 as he faced Bharat Khandare at the UFC Fight Night 122. Yadong performed admirably and won that fight via first-round submission. Following that victory, ‘The Kung Fu Monkey’ went on performing and won 4 out of his next 5 fights (1 ending in a draw).

Yadong last competed in the UFC back in March 2021 as he faced Kyler Phillips at UFC 259. Yadong lost that fight via a unanimous decision to get his first UFC loss. Now Yadong will look to come back stronger from the defeat and prove to everyone why he is one of the brightest prospects in MMA.

Kenney is relatively older than Yadong and has an MMA record of (16-3-1). The fighter last competed in the UFC against Dominick Cruz at UFC 259 and lost via split decision. However, prior to this fight, Kenney was in dominant form winning three consecutive UFC fights in 2020.

UFC 265: Song Yadong vs. Casey Kenney: Analysis

This fight will be one of the closest of the night, as both fighters are pretty well matched. The only difference might be the stamina, as Kenney might just let a bit go towards the end of the fight and leave himself open to attacks from Yadong.
