Ricardo Ramos and Zubaira Tukhugov will face each other in an interesting featherweight matchup at UFC 267. The fight will take place on the preliminary card.
Ramos made his UFC debut in 2017 at UFC Fight Night 104. He will enter the fight with a win in his previous fight against Bill Algeo. He won the fight via a unanimous decision. ‘Carcacinha’ made an instant impact upon being signed by the UFC.
The Brazilian fighter won his first three fights with the promotion, before losing to Said Nurmagomedov at UFC Fight Night 144. Since the loss, Ramos has won 3 out of his 4 fights but hasn’t really impressed the matchmakers. He would look to go out and make an impression at UFC 267.

Tukhugov has not fought since September 2020. In his last fight, he came up short against Hakeem Dawodu and lost via a split decision. The start to his UFC career was also impressive as he won three fights in a row.
However, he has managed to win only one fight since then and has a 1-2-1 record in his last four fights. Just like his opponent, this fight is very important for Tukhugov to make an impression.

The fight between these two fighters will be very important for them. This fight was initially scheduled to take place in March 2021 at UFC Fight Night 187. However, Tukhugov pulled out a week before the fight because of undisclosed reasons.
Ramos comes into the fight with a 15-3 record and will look to continue his winning form against the Russian fighter. Out of his 15 wins in MMA, 10 have come via a stoppage, and seven of those have been by submission. He will also have a four-inch reach advantage over his opponent, which he would like to use to stay away from Tukhugov’s grappling.

Tukhugov’s career has not been that straightforward. After making an impressive start to his UFC career, he lost his fourth fight via a split decision, after which he was out of action for three years. He failed a drug test and later was suspended for his involvement in the UFC 229 post-fight brawl. However, since his comeback, he has a 1-1-1 record. Having lost his last fight and being absent for over a year, he would look to turn his fortunes around.
Tukhugov’s wrestling abilities do give him an advantage over his opponent, but Ramos’ cardio and skills can help him win the fight. The Brazilian’s overall skills might just give him a slight advantage over Tukhugov.
