Zhang Weili misses weight at UFC 268 weigh-in

UFC strawweight fighter Zhang Weili missed weight in the first attempt. She weighed 115.2 lb and was a bit over the championship limit. However, during her second attempt, she was able to make it to 115 lbs on the nose. Thus, this exciting and highly anticipated bout is all set to happen on November 6. 

This is an extremely important bout for both Weili and Rose Namajunas. Both the fighters previously faced off at UFC 261. Namajunas won the fight by TKO and thus, won the title.

Their second bout will give Weili the chance to redeem her defeat or Namajunas the opportunity to prove once again that she is the best among the two. Weili thus gets another opportunity at the UFC women’s strawweight title. She has made several changes to her style and strategies. It would be interesting to see if these changes catch Namajunas off guard.
