The O2 Arena became a battleground when UFC 286 fighters locked horns. In the main event, Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman fought their trilogy bout. In their previous two bouts, both fighters secured one victory over the other. Their rivalry has come to a conclusion with Edwards retaining his Welterweight belt. When it came to the co-main event, Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev never fell short of entertaining the audience. Most of the fights were able to take the fans to the edge of their seats. The UFC president, Dana White, made sure that he came with a thrilling fight card to excite the fans to the extreme.

Gunnar Nelson and Bryan Barberena in the Welterweight division were one of the attractions of the fight card. When it comes to the middleweight division, Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze didn’t disappoint the audience a bit. The Italian proved that he was indeed one of the best middleweights by throwing heavy blows at the surging ‘Caucasian’. Even though the exact amount received by each fighter is unknown due to the promotion’s contract clauses, information on the estimated payouts of each fighter is available. According to the reports of black belt MMA, it is understood that ‘Rocky’ earned a fortune within a single night. Edwards received a paycheck of a whopping $1.3 million. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ didn’t lose much when it came to dollars; he received more than the champion, an estimated $1.5 million.

In the case of ‘The Highlight’ and ‘Ataman’, ‘The Highlight’ received an amount of $1.1 million, while Ataman, with a record of 12 victories and two losses, earned $270,000. Marvin Vettori was on fire when he faced his opponent; his sportsmanship earned him $335,000. While his opponent, Dolidze, received just $85,000.

On the other hand, Nelson was able to earn a decent amount of $350,000 after winning against Barberena. Whereas Barberena received an amount of $225,000.

The PPV points earned by each fighter contribute a lot to deciding the total amount a fighter takes home. This has changed the old method of a fighter earning just a fixed salary. However, even now, every fighter has a base salary along with a winning bonus and performance bonus. If a fighter is able to sell more tickets, there is no doubt that they can take a whopping amount home.
