As he steps in to face Gilbert Burns at UFC 287, Jorge Masvidal will have been fighting for almost two decades. ‘Gamebred’ started fighting on the streets of Miami before he took his talents to various organizations and eventually the UFC. However, his street-fighting tendencies have recently infuriated a section of the fans.

Masvidal is all set to face Burns in the co-main event of UFC 287 in the Miami-Dade Arena. Both fighters have made weight and all we’re waiting for is the starting bell. However, Masvidal managed to get into an altercation after the weigh-ins.

A recently surfaced footage shows him being held back by members of his entourage as he is infuriated. He looked to be in a confrontation with someone and was not happy about it. We can also see Masvidal shoving away the person holding him back before angrily walking away from the scene.

The 39-year-old has a reputation for getting into street fights. His backstage scuffle with Leon Edwards has now produced a full-fledged rivalry between the pair. His alleged altercation with Colby Covington has landed him in serious legal trouble and kept him occupied and out of action for almost a year after their fight.

In a video recently released by TMZ, we can see the alleged incident involving Jorge Masvidal take place on the roads of Miami. However, it is unclear who he is confronting.

Nevertheless, Masvidal’s demeanor and body language indicated that he was not happy with whatever happened. Furthermore, fans were not happy with Masvidal. They voiced their frustrations in the responses under a tweet showing the clip.

Ironically, this is not the first altercation that Masvidal has had during the UFC 287 fight week. A few days ago, he had a run-in with fellow welterweight Kevin Holland in the UFC 287 fighter hotel. Fans had a field day trolling both fighters for flapping gums at each other.
