The UFC is the biggest MMA organization, and there is no question about it. According to the CEO and president, Dana White, the organization has reached the heights it has because of its utmost professionalism. His comments come ahead of the 300 UFC, and to substantiate his point, he cites the example of Kayla Harrison. The former PFL fighter is making her debut at UFC 300 against Holly Holm.

Despite not being in the most competitive MMA organization, Harrison is considered to be one of the greatest female MMA fighters of all time. However, White thinks her association with the UFC is only going to make her legacy better.

What makes the UFC so different?

Unlike other organizations, the UFC invests millions of dollars into providing facilities to fighters. These facilities include trainers, physiotherapists, and training equipment, among others. Not to mention, fighting under the UFC banner gives one more eyeballs than elsewhere. Subsequently, the star power and skill set of the fighter improve.

In a recent interview, the president of the UFC, Dana White, stated, “I think that the entire situation, everything we’re involved in, takes it to another level. I mean, when you bring someone from another organization, take Kayla Harrison as a perfect example. Wait until she experiences the benefits of being inside what I’ll call “the machine.” It’s everything we do here. When compared to other organizations, we are at a different level once you’re on the inside.”

Apart from Harrison, Dana White cited several other examples, like Michael Chandler, to substantiate his point. In addition, it is safe to say that White takes great pride in the UFC and does not shy away from admitting it. So let’s take a look at him discussing the UFC 300 card and what it represents.

Dana White on UFC 300

UFC 300 includes several notable fighters, many of whom are stars of the sport with millions of fans. The majority of them are neither the main event nor the co-main event. This just goes to show that the card cannot be scoffed at in any circumstances. Meanwhile, Dana White thinks that any of the main card fights are worthy of being the main event.

He said, “I keep saying this, Figueiredo versus Cody Garbrandt is the first fight of the night.” White started. “So, when you look at the card where it sits today, every single fight could be a main event on a fight night or a pay-per-view. We’re just waiting for that last. We got two more fights that we gotta put together, we’re working on it.”
