UFC 300: Dana White Reacts to ‘Oil’ Threat After ‘Failure’ to Announce Headliner at Super Bowl Event

Dana White has received an interesting reminder concerning UFC 300! The headlining fights for the historic card are yet to be announced. And while fans were expecting big news from the UFC at the Super Bowl, there have been no confirmations by the promotion or White regarding the same. As such, fans took to social media to remind White that there would be consequences for the delay.

According to a post on social media by influencer, Nina-Marie Daniele, the UFC boss had agreed to be “oiled up” if the announcement for UFC 300 didn’t happen soon. And the fans have taken the threat to another level with their recent post on social media which has drawn a frustrated reaction from Dana White.

UFC 300 is still without a headlining fight, according to UFC CEO Dana White. Although several fights have been announced for the event, two featured matchups remain undecided. The UFC boss in a recent statement at a press conference had revealed that, “Who knows who’s going to be the UFC 300 headliner… We’ve got two more fights we have to put together. We’re working on it.”

As such, the UFC boss has been targeted online by the fans who were quick to remind him of the consequences of the delay. According to a post on X by ‘Nina Drama’ or Nina-Marie Daniele, the UFC boss will have to deal with “oil” if the UFC 300 main event isn’t announced soon!

And so, in a recent post on his Instagram story, White shared a video of a group of men demanding the UFC 300 main event announcement or they would “oil him up”. The UFC head honcho shared a ‘facepalm’ emoji, indicating his emotions surrounding the ordeal. The post highlighted White’s frustration with the situation and shed more light on the fans’ anticipation for the historic event and its marquee matchups!

But despite the delays in announcing the UFC 300 main event, White has recently revealed his thoughts on another upcoming UFC event set to take place in a stunning new arena!

White reveals plans for UFC event at ‘The Sphere’ 

Dana White is eagerly awaiting the UFC’s debut at ‘The Sphere’ in Las Vegas in September this year. The $2.3 billion worth arena boasts a massive capacity and impressive technology, which caught White’s eye, prompting him to announce the UFC’s next ‘Noche UFC’ card will be held there!

In a statement during his appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’, the UFC boss revealed, “We’re going in there during Mexican Independence Day and I’m going to put on the greatest live event anybody’s ever seen…”

He also stated that he envisions the event as a tribute to combat sports’ history in Mexico, featuring top Mexican fighters. He also claimed, “What we’re going to pull off there, will never be done again…”

White’s commitment to delivering unparalleled live events and his anticipation for the UFC’s future ventures underscore his dedication to the sport and its fans. And the community will also be looking forward to seeing what the UFC boss has up his sleeve for the highly speculated additions to UFC 300!
