It is finally here. UFC CEO Dana White had called the now-canceled Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk fight the “biggest fight in the history of the world.” However, a battle that dwarfs even that encounter and casts it into the shadows, making it appear like an undercard skirmish, has been officially announced. UFC light heavyweight Alex Pereira has decided to take on Dagestani internet sensation, ‘Mini Khabib’ Hasbulla Magomedov.

Of course, the diminutive Dagestani will not really fight Pereira, who is at least three feet taller and about a hundred and fifty pounds heavier than Hasbulla, who has no formal mixed martial arts training (although that didn’t stop him from almost fighting his nemesis Abdur Rozik a few years ago). While the two men did agree to fight each other, it was part of a skit to promote an event, and fans had a field day with it.

Alex Pereira vs. Hasbulla set for Alpha Fight Series tonight

Combat Sports promotion Alpha Fight Series is putting on its ‘Australia vs. the world’ fight card in Dubai, UAE on Friday night. To promote the event, they roped in Alex Pereira and Hasbulla, among the most recognizable and popular figures in the MMA world, to shoot a video.

The clip starts with ‘Poatan’ calling Hasbulla, who proceeds to hang up the first time. A desperate Pereira then re-dials Hasbulla, inviting him to attend the Alpha Fight Series and challenges the Dagestani to see “who is the real champion.” Fans, of course, found it hilarious.
